For over 50 years, Canyon Cinema has served as one of the world’s preeminent sources for avant-garde and experimental media, distributing the works of 300+ artists to an international assortment of vibrant festivals and historic cinematheques; to an underground teeming with microcinemas, itinerant and one-off showcases, and unsponsored, unpublicized living-room gatherings; to a thousand classrooms filled with enchanted students; and now, to an increasingly networked global audience.
By becoming a Friend of Canyon Cinema, you will help to ensure that our community of artists receives the support and enrichment it deserves, through Canyon's dogged distribution, enthusiastic advocacy, diligent preservation, and continued promotion of research and scholarship. Your commitment will be indispensable as we continue to expand our catalog and promote the collection through our streaming partnerships and programming initiatives such as our Canyon Cinema Salon, Canyon-on-Demand, and Canyon at The Roxie series; our Canyon Cinema Discovered curatorial fellowship; our publishing and screening platform, Connects; our annual Canyon Cinemazine publication; and our Print Generations commissioning project.

Friends of Canyon Cinema
Your contribution grants you membership in the Friends of Canyon Cinema and includes an option to receive rewards. Memberships are tax-deductible for the full monetary amount if you choose to opt-out of receiving rewards, and less the fair market value amount if you do choose to receive rewards. Note: The Friends of Canyon 2024-25 membership cycle begins October 1, 2024. Membership payments received by March 31, 2024 will be applied to the 2024-25 membership year. Payments received April 1, 2024 or after will be applied to the 2024-25 membership year.
